Traction

Each table at SP+S is equipped with a traction mechanism. Traction used in conjunction with chiropractic care loosens (unlocks) joints and gives passive motion exercise and therapy to the joints. This brings increased blood flow and nutrition that feeds the discs between the vertebrae. This helps to return flexibility, elasticity, and preservation to that all important disc space which protects the opening for the spinal nerve. This also slows the degenerative process known as arthritis that we all seem to take on as we grow older. Traction will not cure arthritis/degeneration, but will slow the process.
